Send a young Explora volunteer to an international Science and Technology Center conference (ASTC), add in a chance meeting and amazing demonstration by Steve Spangler and you have the ingredients for an inspired teenager determined to perform and blog about every experiment in Steve’s two books, Fire Bubbles and Exploding Toothpaste and Naked Eggs and Flying Potatoes. Science Girl spent the next 2 ½ year blogging and learning in the process, interning at Explora, and discovering how motivating hands-on science can be.
