Science Girl is passionate about engaging kids through science theater.  The content of theinteractive show is specifically geared to inspire children to ask questions and become motivated to explore science further.  She would love to visit your school’s assembly to perform her show, interact with your students and teachers, and provide some post-show materials for follow-up classroom discussion.

Connecting Science Girl to the Classroom

AFTER THE SHOW:  In our experience, students are motivated to explore more about science on their own after seeing Science Girl. Her mission is to inspire and connect so we will provide post-show materials for teachers and students to use in the classroom or at home.

CURRICULUM: Teachers will be given  a password to access the curriculum to use in their classroom with additional information, links, ideas, literature connections, and cross-curriculum suggestions to take advantage of their students' enthusiasm. Permission to copy handouts for classroom use is included and encouraged.

What the Assembly Will Include

For 1 hour presentation (Recomended):

  • 25 minute show

  • Science Girl Q&A with students

  • MORE DEMOS as Science Girl explains the science behind the show

  • Web access to optional teacher materials to use in the classroom 

  • Price: $250

For 30 minute presentation: 

  • 25 minute show

  • 5 minute 15 minute Q&A with students

  • Price: $200 

Venue Requirements

  • Available power outlets

  • Large area to perform

  • Ability to set up 60-90 minutes before assembly
