I have been honored to receive awards and recognition for the work that Science Girl's Lab is able to accomplish. These are never due to my work alone, but the collective efforts of our community!
2020 International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE): Hall of Communications
1st Place
This award was given to the 2020 Virtual New Mexico State Fair for their Video At-Home Activities: Science Girl's Lab Egg Drop Experiment Video. I partnered with the State Fair and made them videos and supplementary educational materials. I am so happy I did because this helped them earn an International award!

Community STEM Advocate
Every year, Air Force Research Laboratories (AFRL) hosts a "STEMYs" and recognizes teachers, students, local businesses, and individuals who go above and beyond to innovate, educate, and bring access to STEM to the New Mexico Community. I was recognized for being a Community STEM Advocate, bring excitement and fun to the world of STEM.

AFRL STEMYS Awards Ceremony Clip (Edited)
The Discovery Festival, put on by Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Central New Mexico, is an annual immersive event where students from all over the state of New Mexico get to interact and educate themselves on STEM and beyond careers and services available to them. The kids follow a scavenger hunt around the convention center and vote on their favorite experience. Science Girl's Lab was the runner up for the Kids' Choice Award for the event, only to come to a few votes short of the Armadillo Experience with the NM BioPark.
